This research introduces one of the largest publicly reported Kokborok sentiment datasets containing over 7,500 annotated sentences. The study evaluates multiple machine learning approaches for sentiment classification and demonstrates that Logistic Regression with Bag-of-Words achieves up to 90% accuracy, providing valuable resources for NLP research in low-resource Indian languages.
